cute dogs devour old peoples hearts
On
April 3, 2004 the residents of Medilodge of Howell, right next to the Howell
Church of Christ, had a surprise, it seems that someone left the door open
and in walked two of Howell's best known dogs, Chewy and Cherry.
Seems they
sensed that they were needed. Their presents immediately causes a great ambiance
to fall around the place. Immediately they were put to work and called upon to
help lift spirits, create smiles,. grant feelings of security and just out right
entertaining the masses. Hard word didn't frighten them as they made no attempt
to 'flea'.
Cherry, still new to the entertainment field did her best with a few imitations
of a horse prancing, her imitation of the great late Marty Feldman and with just
her natural beauty. Those big brown saucer eyes and those energetic ears that
fly either at full mast or lay as limp as wet paper. She's quite a show stopper.
Now if we can just teach her signal flag language we will be set.
But once again, the ham took over. Chewy steals the show with the sit and smile
command, showing the little Cherry what it's like to be the star. Moving on to
the shake right and shake left hand routine. The crowd was pumped up as he went
in for the kill with the sit, stand and dance bit followed up with the lay down
& roll over finale which brought tears to the eyes of the observers (or it
could have been that Chewy had gas that day which made their eyes water).
