Through out time, Americans have always had a great man, strong dreams and a pampered pup named 'Chewy' to help guide us into new worlds or great adventures. In the photo to the left, Chewy bites his tongue while "chewy-ing" the fat on a dog day afternoon with John F. Kennedy.

"Sticks and stones may break your bones but I like to chew on 'em!!! " Cherry doggishly slips a joke in and brings smiles to the White House press meeting and to then President Jimmy Carter. What a peanuts dog she is and we aren't talking Snoopy Dog here.
