Chewy Finds Food From God

We attend our local church, as a matter of fact, so do several members of our immediate family. One of our grand daughters, Korynn attends Sunday school classes while the adults attend the sermon upstairs. One of the crafts that this youngster was working on was a color and paste project called, God gives me food.

The project was a photocopy of a drawing of a bowl with a spoon in it, the children had to color the picture and then they pasted several pieces of Apple Jack Cereal inside the bowl.

The grand daughter had left this project in the car seat, and one day I needed to remove the carseats to go move things from our storage shed, so I brought the car seats in the house and set them on the floor by the couch. The car seats where in the house for only a day, and then were placed back out in the car. But we hadn’t noticed that the God gives me food craft sheet was missing.

The next day I was coming out of the bathroom when I noticed a piece of paper under our bed. See, Chewy is a pack rat dog, our Jack Russell has a habit of dragging things under our bed and creating what we call his nest. So I knelt down and peered under the bed to see that we have been very successful in not providing him things in which to build a his nest under our bed. Maybe a pair of socks, a few pieces of paper, Etc. I grabbed the one big piece of paper and pulled it out, can you guess what it was? Yep, you got it, it was the God gives me food page. And Chewy, true to his name, made sure that God did if fact gave him food. The picture below tells the rest of the story.

Chewy makes good on what God provided. God does indeed take care of all of his creations.
